Despite both the NBA and NHL playoffs having the night off and network television being fully in rerun season, SmackDown averaged just 2.138 million viewers on Tuesday night.
That's the lowest number since June 13th, 2017. Aside from that date and the show that went up against election coverage in November 2016, this was the lowest audience for the show since the brand split and the move to Tuesday night.
SmackDown finished seventh for the night on cable in terms of total viewers but, in a down night for TV viewership overall, did top the 18-49 demo with a 0.67 rating.
The show was down nearly nine percent year-over-year, which is the third-worst drop-off in the last year. It's also the third straight week SmackDown was down year-over-year. The episode did maintain the usual 85 percent of Raw's audience from the night before, which was also one of the lowest numbers in that show's history.
