After mostly good WWE ratings for the last several weeks leading up to WrestleMania, this week's SmackDown viewership tumbled an additional four percent from last week's already low number. Tuesday night's go-home show garnered SmackDown's second-smallest audience of 2018 with just 2.476 million viewers.

It's actually the second-smallest number since October 31st of last year, and the Raw audience retention was just 73.5 percent. Aside from the week of Raw's 25th anniversary episode, that's the lowest audience retention since the brand split.

SmackDown again had big competition from ABC's Roseanne, which was down slightly but still did nearly 16 million viewers. They were also up against an NBA game on TNT that did over two million viewers.

The show was fourth for the night on cable in terms of total audience but was on top in the 18-49 demo with a 0.79 rating.

Next week should be up again as the post-WrestleMania Raw and SmackDown are usually the highest rated episodes of the year.
