Raw dropped ten percent from last week, doing its second lowest total of the football season with 2.75 million viewers on Monday.

For whatever reason, the key to the low number was both a low start, but also a much larger than usual drop from hour one to hour two.

Raw was fifth for the night on cable. The NFL game with the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens did 8.27 million viewers. Dancing with the Stars wasn't on, but the CMA Country Christmas show ABC had in its time slot did 7.95 million viewers, so it looks like television itself was down. Still, that wouldn't explain the big second hour drop for Raw.

The October 16th show did 2.69 million viewers, the only Raw episode this football season to do a lower number. There were also four shows this year during the NBA playoffs that did lower numbers than Monday. The first-to-second hour drop of eight percent was made up of six percent of women 18-49, six percent in men 18-49, seven percent in male teens, and ten percent in those over 50, which is the largest audience for the show.

The three hours were:

8 p.m. 2.96 million viewers
9 p.m. 2.72 million viewers
10 p.m. 2.60 million viewers
