WWN Alerts: Match Announcements & Frank Backstage News, William Regal Seminar & Appearance

There's a lot going on behind-the-scenes with The WWN Family. You have always been there for us and supported us. This is your company. We want to let you know what's going on. Let's get to it....

November 15th: We are going to address several items now in bullet points:

-Right now there are only two EVOLVE events scheduled before the WWNLive Experience in New Orleans on April 5th-7th. This is because we are in the process of working out our live streaming future. There are currently four different ongoing negotiations about the future of EVOLVE and The WWN Family live streaming. The offer we take will then shape the EVOLVE schedule. There will definitely be multiple EVOLVE events in 2018 before the WWNLive Experience. We are also looking towards an EVOLVE return to the Midwest in the spring.

-While we work out our streaming future, December will still be a busy month for WWN with ACW on Dec. 2nd, EVOLVE on Dec. 9th & 10th and SHINE on Dec. 16th. Go to the WWNLive.com Upcoming Events Page for all the info.

-Ticket sales for the 2018 WWNLive Experience are already at about 50% of the total for 2017! This is a record breaking start for WWN on Wrestlemania week! The hottest ticket is currently for PROGRESS on April 6th and 7th. Ticket sales are also particularly strong for the entire Friday, April 6th schedule, which includes PROGRESS at noon, EVOLVE at 4pm, the WWN Supershow at 8pm and GCW at 11:55pm. It is no coincidence that we loaded up April 6th with a stacked schedule with the goal of making this your one stop on the Friday before Wrestlemania. Go to www.MoreThanMania.com for tickets, venue and special hotel deals.

-Style Battle S1 Finale on April 7th in New Orleans will also feature a WWN Title defense. Tickets are only $10 and are available at MoreThanMania.com.

-EVOLVE 96 on December 9th in Queens, NY and December 10th in Melrose, MA will be the beginning of a new chapter for EVOLVE. Long time EVOLVE fans will remember a "relaunch" with EVOLVE 31 in August of 2014. This was the start of the 5-7 match format with no intermission and the 2-2 1/2 shows. We felt this format gave you a very smooth, action packed event. However, everything in every field of entertainment runs its course. We now want to switch things up. EVOLVE started out at EVOLVE 1 by featuring top prospects and fast rising talent like Kota Ibushi, Ricochet, Johnny Gargano, TJ Perkins, Brodie Lee (Luke Harper) and even Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole in minor roles. EVOLVE wants to go back to those roots, while still delivering an "all killer, no filler" type of card. EVOLVE will expand the card starting at EVOLVE 96 to include prelim bouts with upcoming talent. This means that there will be intermissions again at EVOLVE. The new card format will be totally revealed at the events on Dec. 9th & 10th.

-MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT: Darby Allin vs. Austin Theory with Priscilla Kelly is signed for EVOLVE 96. The idea here is these are three young talents who increased their reputations in 2017. They are poised to breakout in 2018. Who will get the win to end 2017?

-MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT: AR Fox vs. DJZ is signed for EVOLVE 97. These two are already at an elite level. We hope to see much more of both of them in EVOLVE in 2018. Who will win and claim one of the top spots?

-The WWN Seminar/Tryout will continue to be a big part of the talent pipeline. It will continue with a unique all day Seminar/Tryout on December 8th in Long Island, NY. This will feature special guest WWE Talent Scout William Regal. This is the first time we've had Mr. Regal for an all day Seminar/Tryout. This means he will give a lengthy lecture with the information you need to know if you want to go to WWE or just improve as a pro wrestler. He will also scout the tryout matches. This is a chance to be seen, booked and an invaluable learning experience. The WWN Seminar/Tryouts will be a major part of WWN in 2018. Go to the WWNLive.com Seminar/Tryout section for more info.

-There will be several new EVOLVE Blu-ray releases in the next couple of weeks leading into the holiday season season, including some never-before-released classic shows featuring Johnny Gargano, Samuray Del Sol (Kalisto), The Young Bucks, Eita, Tomahawk T.T. and many others!

-Kenny Johnson continues to upgrade the EVOLVE Mini-Doc series with the latest episodes on Keith Lee and Matt Riddle being in spectacular 4K. Please subscribe to our Youtube page as we will have more video releases and free matches in 2018.

In another interesting bit, this was e-mailed out to people, something I don't remember them ever doing in the past. Gabe & Sal must have really wanted people to see this.

November 8th: Jaka scored the biggest singles win of his EVOLVE career when he pinned EVOLVE Champion Zack Sabre Jr. at EVOLVE 94 in a non-title contest. Of course, this puts Jaka in line for a title shot. It will be Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Jaka for the EVOLVE Championship at EVOLVE 97 on December 10th in Melrose, MA!

November 8th: Matt Riddle vs. WALTER has been signed for EVOLVE 97. These two have developed an intense rivalry with matches in PROGRESS and other promotions. The rivalry is now coming to EVOLVE for a fight that is always an instant classic.

There is a lot of history among these three. Lee and Williams went to a hard-hitting no contest at EVOLVE 89 after things got so heated that they knocked out the ref. Allin is looking to avenge losses to both Lee and Williams. There will be stakes added to this bout to make it even more interesting!
