Mark Briscoe suffered a dislocated elbow last night during his match with Hiromu Takahashi on the ROH Global Wars show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The match, which opened the main show, had only been going on for a few minutes when Takahashi threw some kicks and Briscoe rolled out of the ring. The referee went to check on Briscoe and immediately stopped the match.

The injury was described as very nasty. Briscoe was in the hospital all night and flew back home to Delaware this morning. As of this morning, the estimate is that he will be out of action for eight to ten weeks.

It wasn't clear to the audience what was wrong, but it was clear it was a legitimate upper body injury.

Briscoe was not listed for an advertised match on today's ROH show in Columbus, Ohio. He was to be in a six-man tag team match on tomorrow's iPPV in Chicago, teaming with Jay Lethal and Kenny King against the Suzuki-gun team of Minoru Suzuki, Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr.
