Oh boy. I love this guy!

Seriously... how has everyone involved in the non-in-ring side of this company not already been fired. There is nothing about ROH outside of the matches that isn't an utter disaster right now. If Sinclair was smart they would just pay Gabe a million dollar to fold one of these companies into the other and book it.

Lethal vs. KUSHIDA and Cody vs. Ospreay for Toronto.
Bullet Club (Cody, Page, & Bucks) vs. CHAOS (Goto, Ospreay, & RPG Vice) for Dearborn. This one feels like a match I could see on any New Japan undercard. What a waste.

those Toronto ones sound good.

so, it's a waste to have in this show, or a waste of a show to have this match?

It's a waste of the talent to have this match. It's (almost) never a waste to put any match on any show if it fits into the timeline of the feud. The worst thing you can do if you are a company like ROH or CHIKARA is convince any market that they are a "B" market and their shows don't matter by making sure to only put interesting/important/well-built matches in the "A" markets.

totally agree, it's the same problem we keep seeing with ROH, especially these shows, they try to pile in all the roster + guests into every show and we just end up having tons of meaningless matches.

It's not just these shows, it's EVERY house show where they make the matches meaningless. This one is worse because, just like with titles, they don't seem to understand that less is more. What they should be doing for these tours is only bringing in a combination of the following:
Okada
Tanahashi
Naito
Omega
KUSHIDA
Gedo (I assume he basically has to go along)
Hiromu Takahashi

And then you've got three or four spots for a rotating crew, depending on the needs of the show, but they need to do what they can to make it feel special. Roppongi Vice don't feel special because we've seen them so many times. Neither to the Guerrillas of Destiny (especially because they're not particularly good, either). But you could make them feel special if you actually treat them like special guests.
To be fair, it's New Japan's fault, too, as they have no idea how to use their relationships for any sort of mutual benefit beyond the simple trade of exposure that will hopefully equal a bigger gate for each of us when we import the other's stars. What they should be doing is taking those undercard guys who they don't do much with in the undercard tags but haven't been seen much in North America recently and will still feel like they have names and farm them out for a tour. No one in Japan will miss Yuji Nagata doing being in a meaningless eight-minute clusterf*ck, but he would be a big deal if he came over to ROH to have a singles match with Bobby Fish. Or let Bad Luck Fale off for BOSJ and instead send him over to slug it out with Beer City Bruiser for ten minutes on an ROH undercard. Ten-Koji vs. Briscoes would be a fine match to be third from the top in any ROH market. Or find one date that ROH is running during which New Japan isn't on tour and send all five LIJ members over to main event against five ROH guys. That sort of thing. Instead we just get the same undercard guys most of the time (especially the Gaijins) and they don't feel important at all.

LIJ trio (BUSHI, Sanada, & EVIL) challenging for six-man titles in Dearborn, Sydal challenging Scurll for TV Title in NYC on PPV.

No, but someone needs to take the pin and New Japan is too dumb to just have KAMAITACHI take the pin to set up a title defense on a Road To show because heel vs. heel isn't allowed to happen for some reason.

Really? I just can't get behind BUSHI anymore. They've made him come off like such a second-rate guy now that they have KAMAITACHI. The tag division would be a good place for Sanada & EVIL, though, IMO.
