BRM Reviews CHIKARA Cibernetico Forever

Post by Big Red Machine » Oct 16th, '12, 00:05

CHIKARA Cibernetico Forever (12/26/2006)- Philadelphia, PA

RORSACH vs. RECKLESS YOUTH- 5.75/10

ULTRAMANTIS, & HYDRA BACKSTAGE- this was freakin’ weird. I’m pretty sure they took some sort of psychedelic drug.

ULTRAMANTIS BLACK, CROSSBONES, & HYDRA vs. FIRE ANT, SOLDIER ANT, & EQUINOX- 4/10
Some of the stuff in this match just looked bad, and the match wasn’t particularly exciting. After the match, the heels beat the Colony down until the debuting Worker Ant makes the save.

EXCALIBUR PROMO- horrible. He just rambled on and on and on and his voice was just so obnoxious here.

EXCALIBUR vs. PLAYER UNO- 4/10

TWIGGY vs. SHAYNE HAWKE (w/Shane Matthews)- 4.25/10

YOIUNG LIONS’ CUP MATCH: Arik Cannon(c) vs. Max Boyer- 6/10

ARIK CANNON PROMO- great

TORNBEO CIBERNETICO: Larry Sweeney, Gran Akuma, Icarus, Brandon Thomaselli, Sal Thomaselli, Vito Thomaselli, Chris Hero, & Claudio Castagnoli vs. Eddie Kingston, Mike Quackenbush, Shane Storm, Ryan Cruz, Darrin Corbin, Cheech, Cloudy, & Hallowicked-9.25/10
This was freakin’ amazing. It told some good stories and build nicely and slowly towards some amazing action.

Overall, this was the very definition of a one-match show. If you are a CHIKARA fan, it is worth getting. If you aren’t much of a CHIKARA fan, see if you can get it cheaply, and if you can, I’d recommend not even touching disc 1. Just put disc 2 in and watch the Cibernetico.
