FROM UNEMPLOYED TO #1 CONTENDER: WRECKINGBALL WINS THE WAR!
The Wreckingball wins the war…All Out War that is! Still, a man who was sent to the unemployment line back in April by the CEO Truth Martini; a man who has purchased a ticket each month since as a supporter of CLASH Wrestling; was finally a man who received a golden ticket entry to “All Out War!” Who would’ve thought? The weeks leading in, members of the CLASH faithful had been submitting their responses via various social networking sites that CLASH is affiliated with and none saw The Wreckingball as a golden ticket entry, let alone securing the win and #1 contendership!

What does all of this mean? Is the Wreckingball back with CLASH Wrestling? Well, that’s the curveball because news of this has reached the desk of CEO Truth Martini and his words were very short, but simply put: “NO, Wreckingball is no longer part of the active roster.” So, we have a very precarious situation where the Wreckingball will be signed to compete against reigning CLASH Champion, “GQ” Gavin Quinn in which will truly be a golden opportunity of a lifetime! WHAT IF Wreckingball can overcome Quinn’s 10 month reign? WHAT IF Wreckingball becomes CLASH Champion? Will he be given his employment application to continue to perform? These are questions waiting to be answered upon the result of Gavin Quinn vs. The Wreckingball on October 22nd.

CAVEMAN EXTINGUISHES THE SIN CITY SPARK
It’s been a roller coaster ride but on September 3rd, that ride came to a halt after a grueling Steel Cage match between “Caveman” Tyler Elkins and “Sin City Sparklin” Cameron Skyy. The conclusion saw the “Caveman” neanderclaw his way out the cage door leaving Skyy unconscious. We saw Skyy’s mentor as of late, “Amazing” N8 Mattson aid him to the back after the contest; what’s next for both competitors remains to be seen.

“WHAT AM I GOING TO DO ABOUT J. MILLER? NOTHING” – GAVIN QUINN
Following another victory over Zach Gowen in “GQ” Gavin Quinn’s hot streak as CLASH Champion; Quinn grabbed a microphone to address “Murderous Monk” J. Miller’s return at “100” on 8/6. To paraphrase, Quinn mentioned that the list of names he has defeated including the likes of Cameron Skyy, X-Pac, Petey Williams, Jimmy Jacobs, Zach Gowen etc; J. Miller was not on his level and thus he would do nothing about the “Goodbye Tooth” kick he received from J. Miller on 8/6.

However what Gavin says, isn’t always what Gavin does… During the “All Out War!” contest, J. Miller had rid the ring of Ded Vaughn (who had eliminated the most competitors in the match) only to have Gavin Quinn slide in unexpectedly and toss Miller over the top rope, eliminating him. Quinn then walked to the back with a grin on his face as he returned the favor from receipt of the kick by removing Miller from title contention. Rumor has it that J. Miller has taken an vow of silence; so what will his reaction be on October 22nd?

HIS NAME IS…DRAGON GREED
The CLASH faithful has always known the former CLASH Champion as Dragon Kreed, debuting with the company in March 2008 and rising to the top by March 2009. Since aligning himself with CEO Truth Martini in order to gain employment once again and decimating “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo at “100” in the process, Dragon Kreed denounced his name at “All Out War!” requesting to be now known as “Dragon Greed” in reference to his deep pockets and lifestyle of excess.

One should know that in the world of Professional Wrestling, if you do unto others, they will do unto you… Dragon Greed, if you will, received a bit of payback by the “Swagg Starr” as Manzo’s music interruption was enough time to distract Greed from winning the opening Fray match to “All Out War!” However Greed later eliminated Manzo in the contest. What’s next in the rivalry between the two? We shall find out LIVE at CLASH From The Crypt.

J. Miller vs. Ophidian Signed For CLASH From The Crypt!

September 9, 2011

With All Out War! in the record books, our focus has now shifted entirely on October 22nd’s CLASH From The Crypt. With that being said, we are happy to announce the second signed match for the event, an interpromotional bout that pits one of the best of CLASH vs. one of the best of our friends from CHIKARA! On October 22nd, the “Murderous Monk” J. Miller will battle Ophidian, one on one, for the first time ever!

Longtime CLASH fans are aware that the history between Miller & Ophidian dates back to the 2009 NPCI, where in the finals a top rope maneuver by Miller lead to Ophidian breaking his arm. In 2010, Ophidian returned to CLASH to avenge the loss and attempted to break the arm of Miller in the process. While Ophidian was unsuccessful at the time, a few months later Miller did suffer an injury of his own when he broke his leg in October 2010.

On October 22nd, J. Miller steps back into a professional wrestling ring for his first singles match in over a year! Who better an opponent than a man who knows what it’s like to suffer a career threatening injury? CLASH fans will be in for a treat when these two square off! It’s J. Miller vs. Ophidian! CLASH vs. CHIKARA! Who will walk out victorious in this match two years in the making? There’s only one way to find out! JOIN US LIVE AND IN PERSON @ CLASH From The Crypt on October 22nd! 2011 NPCI @ CLASH From The Crypt: First Match Announced!

September 12, 2011

Since it’s inception, CLASH Wrestling has attempted to bring honor and prestige to tag teams and the art of tag team wrestling. For that reason, in 2008, CLASH announced the Nicholas P. Clashertone Invitational (NPCI) Tag Team Tournament, a two night celebration and competition between the greatest duos wrestling has to offer. Over the years, the NPCI has grown to become the largest and most prestigious tag team tournament in the state of Michigan.

Scheduling issues will not allow for the NPCI to be it’s own individual event this year, but we at CLASHWRESTLING.COM are happy to announce that at the 2011 NPCI will take place at CLASH From The Crypt on October 22nd! This year’s NPCI will be the most action packed and prestigious ever, as only 8 teams have been granted entry. Thus, CLASH management have selected only the absolute best duos to partake and over the course of the next few weeks we will learn the 4 opening round matches at CLASH From The Crypt!

The first announced match is proof that the 2011 NPCI may end up being the best yet as the current CLASH Tag Team Champions and winners of the 2010 NPCI Too Sweet will battle with The Batiri of CHIKARA! Earlier this year, Bryce Benjamin & Joey Marx suffered their first ever loss at the hands of the Dark Army of Obariyon & Kodama. Do The Batiri have Too Sweet’s number? Can Too Sweet do what no other team in CLASH history has done and become 2 Time NPCI Winners? There’s only one way to find out! Join us LIVE for the 2011 NPCI Tag Team Tournament at CLASH From The Crypt on October 22nd! Presale tickets are available now, click here to get yours today!

Second NPCI Match Signed For CLASH From The Crypt!

September 15, 2011

Earlier this week we learned that the 2011 NPCI will return on October 22nd at CLASH From The Crypt! We also learned that current CLASH Tag Team Champions Too Sweet will square off against The Batiri in the Opening Round. Today we are happy to announce the second signed bout for the 2011 NPCI and it features the former CLASH Tag Team Champions!

Facing off in the 2011 NPCI will be The H3RD vs. the strike heavy duo of “Mr. 450″ Hammett & TD! After facing one another in the 6 Way Fray at All Out War!, TD & Hammett have begun to train together outside the squared circle. Could this newly formed tag team win the 2011 NPCI? If so, they’ll have to first get through The H3RD captained by the “Mad Scientist” Tommy Treznik, a man who has made it to the NPCI finals every single year since its inception. One would think that with his self-created monster Ded Vaughn by his side, this year will be no different.

Will 2011 mark the 4th consecutive year that the Mad Scientist makes it to the NPCI Finals? Or can the underdog duo of Hammett & TD shock the wrestling world and unseat The H3RD, a team that has to be considered one of this years favorites? There’s only one way to find out! Join us LIVE for the 2011 NPCI Tag Team Tournament at CLASH From The Crypt on October 22nd! Presale tickets are available now, click here to get yours today!

Competitor Spotlight: Dragon Greed

September 16, 2011

Image

Competitor Spotlight: Dragon Greed – Given his most recent name change, we here at CLASHWRESTLING.COM figured we’d spotlight the accomplishments of Dragon Kreed which may guide us on the expectations of Dragon Greed. Without a doubt one of the biggest competitors in CLASH Wrestling, Greed is a former CLASH Champion. Whether loved or hated, Dragon is certainly a staple of CLASH Wrestling and has experienced great success during his tenure.

2008: Kreed Makes An Impact - Debuted as Dragon Kreed in March 2008 at an event called “Triple Crown Cup,” he instantly made an impact. Standing 6’4” and weighing 265 lbs; Dragon used his size and stature to run through opponents the bulk of the year. Aligned himself with then CEO Jeremy Jones and Wreckingball to make up Jonescorp (later renamed Wreckingforce). The two monsters individually and collaboratively made names for themselves until a disagreement broke them apart, leading to a huge collision at our annual Seize The Day II in which Dragon Kreed was victorious.

2009: A Championship Year - Arguably the most successful year of Kreed’s CLASH career, 2009 saw the hatred that once resonated within CLASH fans for Kreed begin to slowly transition to cheers in recognition of his complete dominance. Early 09 brought on a championship opportunity against then Champion, Cameron Skyy. Immediately it was obvious that when these two stood toe to toe in the ring, there was a landslide of favorable support for Kreed. This lead to not only a CLASH Championship run when he pinned Skyy on March 29, 2009 in Taylor, MI; but also the beginning of a feud stretching over a year in length.

Dragon Kreed and Cameron Skyy battled back and forth over CLASH gold in 2009 giving Kreed the win on every occasion which only built up more frustration and fuel to the fire from Skyy’s front. On June 6th of that year, they battled once more, and what had looked like another definitive win for Kreed; Skyy aligned himself with Tyler Elkins leading to a post match attack injuring Kreed’s shoulder. This injury would keep him out of in-ring action until January 2010.

2010: Return From Injury - Kreed started 2010 with a return to the ring and began to seek revenge for the attack by Cameron Skyy & Tyler Elkins. As it seemed the war would wage once again, Skyy suffered a broken forearm putting a halt to Kreed’s pursuit. After waiting for Skyy to recover, the two met in action one final time in August. In their final encounter, Kreed definitively and conclusively defeated Skyy. Immediately following the bout, the two men made amends.

2011: Kreed Becomes Greed - Early 2011 saw a reunion of Wreckingforce as Kreed & Wreckingball were able to let time heal wounds and jump head first back into the Tag Team division. Wreckingforce had been gaining steam as a cohesive unit until April when CEO Truth Martini ran through a “Spring Cleaning” and terminated both Wreckingball and Dragon Kreed.

Kreed had gone unseen until CLASH Wrestling 100 on August 6th. At the event, he pleaded for his job back and offered his services as the accomplice of CLASH CEO Truth Martini. Since his return, the greed-driven Dragon had most recently denounced his former ring name replacing the “K” with “G” coining himself Dragon Greed. Perhaps now more than ever before Dragon has it all: fame, fortune and friends, making him a threat to any and all titleholders in CLASH Wrestling.

Dates Of Significance:
03/22/08: Dragon Kreed debuts in CLASH Wrestling.
03/29/09: Wins CLASH Championship pinning Cameron Skyy.
06/06/09: Dragon sustains major shoulder injury shelving him for 6 months.
08/14/10: Dragon defeats Skyy in the final encounter of their year long rivalry.
10/23/10: Dragon Kreed & Wreckingball reunite as Wreckingforce.
04/23/11: Wreckingforce are fired by CLASH CEO Truth Martini.
08/06/11: Earns the job of Truth Martini’s accomplice by turning his back on fans & Dave Manzo.
09/03/11: Dragon Kreed officially becomes Dragon Greed.

September 19, 2011

Last week we learned that the 2011 NPCI will return on October 22nd at CLASH From The Crypt and the first two Opening Round matches were announced! This week we will learn the other two 2011 NPCI Opening Round bouts, starting with today’s announcement of the third signed match!

Final NPCI Match Signed For CLASH From The Crypt!

September 22, 2011

By now it’s common knowledge that the 2011 NPCI will return on October 22nd at CLASH From The Crypt. For the better part of the last two weeks, we at CLASHWRESTLING.COM have announced the Opening Round Matches scheduled to take place during our Halloween Extravaganza. Today, we are happy to announce the fourth and final match in the 2011 NPCI Tag Team Tournament!

Rounding out the Opening Round will be two teams CLASH fans are certainly familiar with. On one side of the ring will stand William J. O’Malley & Gideon Malice, collectively known as the Sons Of Sanity. Their opposition on October 22nd is none other than the duo of “Sin City Sparklin” Cameron Skyy & “Amazing” N8 Mattson! Skyy & Mattson have been aligned since N8’s CLASH debut earlier this year, but CLASH From The Crypt will mark the first time that he & Cameron team together in a CLASH ring! Unlike their opposition, the Sons Of Sanity are no strangers to teaming together, in fact they’ve spent the last year perfecting their craft.

So who will walk out victorious and advance in the 2011 NPCI on October 22nd at CLASH From The Crypt? Can Skyy & Mattson prove successful in their first time teaming together? Will the Sons Of Sanity’s prayers for an NPCI victory be answered? Only one team can advance to the NPCI finals: who will it be? There’s only one way to find out! Gavin Quinn’s Title Reign Sets A New CLASH Record

September 26, 2011

Image

As of today (September 26th, 2011) “GQ” Gavin Quinn has held the CLASH Championship for 311 days, making him the longest reigning CLASH Champion in history. Quinn’s current reign breaks the 2008 record (309 days) held by “Ace High” Cameron Skyy. With Gavin Quinn narrowing in on an entire year (he won the title on November 20th, 2010) as CLASH Champion, one has to wonder does he have what it takes to make it 365 consecutive days as champion?

His next test awaits him on October 22nd at CLASH From The Crypt, when Quinn defends his title against the #1 contender Wreckingball. Will Quinn’s record breaking reign continue? Caveman vs. Conrad Signed For CLASH From The Crypt!

September 27, 2011

With CLASH From The Crypt now less than a month away, we at CLASHWRESTLING.COM have learned of another bout scheduled to take place on October 22nd. Joining the already announced matches of Gavin Quinn vs. Wreckingball, J. Miller vs. Ophidian & the 2011 NPCI Tag Team Tournament is a singles bout between “Caveman” Tyler Elkins and Mason Conrad of Victorious Secret!

The “Caveman” is coming fresh off the biggest win of his professional career after defeating Cameron Skyy in the first ever Steel Cage Match in CLASH history at All Out War! Now, Elkins aims to keep his momentum going with a victory over Mason Conrad. As a singles competitor, Mason Conrad is unproven; in fact, CLASH From The Crypt will mark his singles debut in CLASH Wrestling.

Can Mason Conrad do the unthinkable and derail the train that is Tyler Elkins? Or will the “Caveman” take another step towards earning a CLASH Championship Match? There’s only one way to find out! GAVIN QUINN (c) VS. WRECKINGBALL (DO OR DIE)
This one as it’s labeled is really “do or die” for the Wreckingball (well, not literally). Wreckingball has been on the unemployment line since April by word of CEO Truth Martini with is “spring cleaning.” Meanwhile, the Wreckingball has continually paid the $12 admission price to sit in attendance to watch the show he once was a part of. His passion and desire for the business of professional wrestling is evident by such; additionally how awkward must it be for him to be terminated from his employer but still support the product he loves each and every month? Well, the golden opportunity of a lifetime was given at ALL OUT WAR! on 9/3 when three former CLASH employees were allowed to return for one night only. Wreckingball took this opportunity and ran with it by achieving victory and #1 contendership to the gold that sits on Gavin Quinn’s waist.

So here we are, the currently unemployed Wreckingball is #1 contender to challenge Gavin Quinn for the gold. Never before in CLASH history has a non-contracted athlete been in such a position. Can the Wreckingball break Gavin Quinn’s incredible 11 month reign as champion? Or will the Wreckingball be another stepping stone in Quinn’s legacy, thus sending his challenger back to unemployment and abolished as a CLASH athlete? Be there, no matter what on October 22nd for the result!

NPCI TAG TOURNAMENT RETURNS – CLASH VS. CHIKARA
Not only are we amped up that this event is going to be a super duper fun Halloween themed extravaganza, but to host the NPCI Tag Team Tournament and CLASH vs. CHIKARA all in one?! Wow, we’re giving it all to you in ONE MEGA EVENT! Michigan’s biggest Tag Team Tournament – the NPCI; showcasing some of the best Tag Teams from around the globe with the winner awarded the prestige, another building block to add to their accolades, and a springboard to title contention.

1) Too Sweet (c) vs. The Batiri – These two teams already have history backing it stemming from CLASH vs. CHIKARA in March this year. Bryce Benjamin of Too Sweet suffered defeat in six man tag action, however round 2 has more riding on it. The win here will advance to the NPCI finals for a chance to earn the prestige of a tournament win solidifying one’s Tag Team supremacy.

2) “Amazing” N8 Mattson & “Sin City Sparklin” Cameron Skyy vs. Sons Of Sanity – William J. O’Malley & Gideon Malice of Sons Of Sanity continue to spread their righteous message and by gaining a win in the NPCI, might turn some more ears. However, the hurdle is seasoned veteran N8 Mattson and former CLASH Champion Cameron Skyy. Mattson of late has offered Skyy advice as a mentor would to his protégé, but will the brash “Ace High” head the advice and form a cohesive unit? Find out on October 22nd!

3) The Colony vs. The Painkillers – Green Ant & Fire Ant of The Colony are on a red hot streak after winning CHIKARA’s King Of Trios event this year. However, their opposition being the former H3RD members, Donnie & Jacob Hallows of The Painkillers are no team to dismiss. For an odd reason yet to be explained, they were casted away from Tommy Treznik’s H3RD concoction; was it because they were too crazy & psychotic to be involved? That question may never be answered, but nonetheless will have a victor in a bout that looks to be crazy and fun!

4) H3RD vs. TD & “Mr. 450” Hammett – The “Mad Scientist” Tommy Treznik is no stranger to Tag Team success. Treznik has managed to win gold with multiple variations of both the H3RD and other Tag Team headers. In fact, Treznik has been in the finals of every NPCI Tag Tournament to date. Given his current formula of H3RD including the monster Ded Vaughn; a team such as TD & “Mr. 450” Hammett have got to be intimidated. However don’t discount them, “Mr. 450” has had much singles success holding gold in several territories in the Chicago region. Hammett putting that success together with upcoming talent, TD may prove to be a perfect gelled unit going into NPCI on October 22nd!

Non Tournament – J. Miller vs. Ophidian (CLASH vs. CHIKARA) – Does it need additional explanation? J.Miller injured Ophidian in the 2009 NPCI Tag Tournament; Miller then sustained a shelving injury of his own with a broken leg. The two athletes are back at 100% and prepare to duel, both representing their own respective promotion. With this potential show stealer on the card, is there any other reasons needed to join us at CLASH FROM THE CRYPT? Well, we don’t think so, but there is MORE!

KEVIN THORN DEBUTS IN SIX PERSON TAG ACTION
Some more Tag Team excitement to bring your way, and what perfect timing for Former WWE Star Kevin Thorn to debut on our Halloween Spooktacular event! He’ll be joined alongside Mena Libra and “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo taking on Austin Manix, “American Nightmare” Hakim Zane, & Dragon Greed w/ CEO Truth Martini.

WHAT IS CAVEMAN’S NEXT OBSTACLE?
The “Caveman” Tyler Elkins will be strutting in praise on October 22nd coming off his HUGE victory in the Steel Cage last month against Cameron Skyy. What is his next pursuit? Well, we know that Mason Conrad of Victorious Secret has opted to step outside of normal Tag Team routine to make his singles debut in attempt to make his mark. A victory over Elkins would certainly get people talking so he may have chosen the best time to capitalize. Witness it LIVE in Taylor on 10/22!

That’s it for now, keep your eyes peeled to CLASHWRESTLING.COM has we’ve got tons of updates to push your way including blogs from the competitors involved in CLASH FROM THE CRYPT, stay tuned!

CLASH Blog: Mason Conrad (10/13/11)

October 13, 2011

Greetings everyone, Mason Conrad here! It has been quite some time since I have addressed all the CLASH fans and some questions need to be answered! First and foremost, I’ve been hearing a lot of speculation on the dealings between myself and Cameron Salem. We have been tagging at CLASH for a little over a year now and as time goes on people tend to go off path from one another. Sadly enough, this is what has happened between me and Cameron. He has his own path to walk down, and I’m going to continue to walk down mine. That is all that I’m going to say about that subject.

Image

Moving on, it was announced not too long ago that I will be making my singles debut against the “Caveman” Tyler Elkins. I intend to make a name for myself in the singles division at CLASH Wrestling. The match between me and Mr. Elkins won’t be a walk in the park for either of us, he is a formidable adversary and I’m not going to back down so easily. I’m going to give everything I’ve got. I intend to prove that I have what it takes to be taken seriously in the CLASH singles division! I’m not going to let anything or ANYONE stop me from achieving the true potential that I possess!

“Caveman” be ready at CLASH From The Crypt for a new Mason Conrad, one who will not be taken so lightly anymore. I might be going at this alone but I still hold the secret to victory in my hands and I shall prove that on October 22nd!

Sincerely,
Mason Conrad

CLASH Blog: #1 Contender Wreckingball (10/17/11)

October 17, 2011

I am ready. When I got fired by Truth Martini back in April it felt like my whole world fell apart. Being a part of CLASH Wrestling means a lot to The Wreckingball. For me, CLASH is far more than just a wrestling company but more of a magic parallel universe filled with cavemen, shark people, superheroes, a wolf, a monk, a mad scientist and more all battling in a real live action movie. A place where truly anything is possible.

So after being fired, instead of feeling sorry for myself I decided to get in the best shape possible and come up with a way to get my job back. I called and e-mailed CLASH Wrestling officials over and over for weeks, asking for a chance to earn my job back but got no response. I decided to take matter into my own hands by buying a ticket to 100 and petitioning for my spot back on the CLASH roster. With close to 500 signatures and a couple of Wreckingball chants, I felt like I got the attention of the higher ups. No phone calls, but I didn’t give up.

Then it was announced that golden tickets would be presented to three former CLASH competitors and I thought “Hey, this is my chance. I know I'm gonna get that call and get a ticket.” Again, no phone call, but I still didn’t give up. I bought another ticket and brought my petition and was back at it. I was curious to see who got the golden tickets. One went to that goof Colt Ryan and another was bought by Truth Martini. As “Swagg Starr” Dave Manzo came out #18 and Mena Libra earned #20 spot, which meant that #19 was the final ticket holder. When it came time, I was surprised to see Ringmaster B come through the curtain. B announced that the final ticket should go to someone who truly deserved it. It felt like time had stopped as B presented me with the final ticket. This was the chance that I’ve been waiting for and I damn sure made the most of it. Outlasting 19 other CLASH Wrestling warriors, I won All Out War and became the first ever CLASH Wrestling FAN to become #1 contender.

Now everything comes to a head on October 22nd at CLASH from the Crypt. All I have to do is win and I get my job back. Seems easy enough except I have to beat a man that has been undefeated for 11 months and win a title that has alluded me for my whole career. That man, that champion is named Gavin Quinn.

Wreckingball is no longer a name to describe my physical appearance, but a symbol. A symbol of my willpower and determination to defeat any challenge, beat any opponent and destroy any wall that stands in my way. Gavin Quinn, you are that final wall that stands between me and my job. I don’t care who you have beaten in the past. I don’t care how long you have been champion. I’m gonna roll up to the Taylor Town Trade Center in straight up Terminator mode with one mission: WIN! I’m confident that there is nothing you can do to beat me. I WILL NOT STOP! I AM READY! THIS IS MY MATCH TO WIN!

At CLASH from the Crypt, I destroy the wall that is known as the 11 month title reign of Gavin Quinn and I return to my job at that real life fantasy world that is CLASH Wrestling and I return as the CLASH Champion.

CLASH Blog: Tag Team Champion Joey Marx (10/18/11)

October 18, 2011

Yo CLASH fans it’s ya boy, one half of the CLASH Tag Champs and TOO SWEET member Joey Marx! Man, do I have stuff on my mind… like CLASH From The Crypt on Saturday! It’s a big show for Bryce and I not only because it’s CLASH From The Crypt, but it’s the 2011 NPCI Tag Team Tournament.

Image

The NPCI is a big deal to Too Sweet, it’s where we made our CLASH Wrestling debut! We defeated a lot of great teams and won the whole thing, earning us our CLASH Wrestling contracts. I keep asking myself, “Will there be a repeat of what happened last year at the NPCI? Can Too Sweet win the whole tournament again?” We’re gonna do our best but to find out you gotta be there to watch us go for NPCI victory #2! After Saturday, everyone is gonna have to start calling us not TOO SWEET, BUT TWO SWEET!
