My latest goofy idea for this show to make it work well within the kayfabe of the Bullet Club split is for the main event to be the Young Bucks vs. Cody & ? with the winner getting the gate because they no longer trust each other to split it honestly.

that would actually make a lot of sense since there are no championships at stake at all. make it 'Gate Ladder Match', just don't call it that or Dragon Gate will sue.

Doesn't feel like this huge match announcement and it feels like it's not a big deal for Okada, but in a way, it also feels like some sort of 2016-2017 dream match

These are pretty much exactly my thoughts on this.

SEVEN people? There is no reason for Riccaboni, Mooney, or Roberts to be involved (even if Roberts is a local Chicago guy). Have Cruise do the ring announcing, Atout do the interviews, and stick Excalibur and Cyrus in the booth together (Excailbur is more of a play-by-play guy in his own way, so you'd have one of each).

I actually rather have Riccaboni and Callis. Callis being heel with Excalibur would be too weird.

I don't mind two backstage interviewers, but two ring announcers does

Omega vs Pentagon is expected, but hasn't been confirmed.

It's not a ~bad~ card by any means, but am I the only one that's a little underwhelmed by it? Omega/Pentagon will help if it happens, but with the guys they've got I feel like they could have put something a little more compelling together...

I mean I'm a wrestling fan on the internet, of course I'm going to find a reason to shit on everything to a degree, but Okada and Mysterio are right there staring me in the face on separate lines of the card...

I don't know... right now it's feeling like a 'B' Show that could have been an 'A' Show if they shuffled the deck... I can't help but think that Cody was afraid of building a card that overshadowed his main event...
