Re: NWK reviews ECW Wrestlepalooza

My point still stands. Who has referred to a Moonsault as a "Press" since its invention? Therefore not many people would automatically associate a press with a Moonsault.

Re: NWK reviews ECW Wrestlepalooza

1. Oh, this is Wrestlepalooza 98; there's a Wrestlepalooza 97, too, you should check that one out. 2. I've gotta be a mark here for one of my fav wrestlers: Sabu NEVER hits 'poetry in motion;' he hits 'Air Sabu,' which he was doing long before Jeff Hardy was doing anything (he tore his arm open try...

Re: BRM Reviews TNA Lockdown 2014

In watching all the old wrestling matches as I've done for the past three days, I cannot understand what WCW/TNA's fascination was with overbooking, It would be one thing if all the potholes in afformentioned booking were answered for, but it just seems like the more people overbook, the more logica...

Daniel Bryan's inclusion in the Summerslam 2010 Team WWE vs. Nexus match. Aside from the fact that the waited until the very last minute to announce this, when they could've just announced it at the beginning because we're all in for the long haul anyway, it was amazing, and pretty much was the bes...

Re: BRM Reviews WWE Bragging Rights 2009

Bragging Rights would've been a cool concept in early/mid 2000s, but by this point the brand thing was on its last leg anyway. Yeah. They actually could have used this to push a return of the brand rivalry if they wanted to. the inclusion of an ECW brand in 2006 was the closest they ever came to le...

Hi folks, it's New World Kid here to to bring you a semi-organized blurb of thoughts that constitute a wrestling review. Usually, each match has its own subheading, and the thoughts I have while watching said match are listed in bullet point format. I'll try to avoid armchair booking as much as huma...

Heyman's team was spose to be Dennis Condry (who was a part of the 'original' Midnight Express with Bobby Eaton, with Cornette as the manager; however the truly original Midnight express was formed in Southeast Championship Wrestling and included Condry, a guy named Norvell Austin, and Condry's par...

Let's see if my favorite Pay Per View of my relatively younger days holds up. I always thought the WM22 set (the pictures of all the wrestlers hung up all over the arena) was one of the coolest, something that really captured the all encompassing feel of Wrestlemania. -Any highlight video is made be...

Re: NWK reviews WCW Mayhem 1999

why did you even do this to yourself? I avoid every WCW ppv from 99 on; there are a few in 98 that are worth something but after that the PPV;s are almost total trash, despite the talent involved I figured a PPV with Sting/Bret and the potential of Bret/Benoit would be great, it's just that the oth...

I try not to be cynical but I kinda just knew it wasn't going to happen, although, you're correct in that more big guys need to dive tease.
