Allow me to quote The Miz... "Really!? ..... Really!!!?"

I'm afraid Vince Russo nor Ed Ferrara deserve a spot in any hall of fame anywhere.
UNless, of course, there is a "Stupid Hall of Fame" somewhere

ROH Unified (8/12/2006)- Liverpool England The show starts off with a great promo by Nigel McGuinness. A VERY young looking Davey Richards starts to cut a promo, but he is interrupted by Austin Aries & Roderick Strong, whose stolen ROH World Tag Team Titles have been returned. Aries then cuts a ...

Re: WOTW: Gimmick Match

Becase they're trying to sell you the match. A no DQ match is far more dangerous. Also, this explanation of cage matches being "more dangerous" only cmae about AFTER the advent of the escape stip. Look at a case like Sting-Flair. Sting didn't want to hurt Flair, and Flair didn't really wa...

The best part about this was the Sid later claimed Russo told him to say that in order to make it seem like a worked shoot. Total BS, of course... but still hilarious.

Ankle Lock. Simple, brutal, effective.

In all honesty, the Crossface Chicken Wing never looked that painful.

Sure you do. Russo and Ferrara would bring Cornette & Heyman's great show down to decent. Not necessarily true, Russo & Ferrara's writing is what made the Attitude Era great... Although I think the titles changed hands too much I remember actually caring about most people on the card... If ...

If there is one person who deserves to be in the celebrity wing and isn't, it's Mr. T. Donald Trump also deserves to be inducted as a celebrity. why Trump? He's only been involved once and it was as a part off the worst WM ever..... Yes, but he has been involved in non-mania stuff. It is a WWE Hall...

Re: WOTW: Gimmick Match

I don't think cage matches are made primarily for those two reasons, but I don't like the escape option that much either. I always thought ppl were put in cage matches bc they REALLY wanted to hurt one another, and cage matches are the"most dangerous matches in pro wrestling." I don't min...

While we're talking about Cage matches, I have always hated the "escape" stip, especially if the match is Escape Only. The point of the cage is to either 1) Keep the wrestlers in the ring (i.e. stop the heel from running away) or 2) Keep others out (i.e. stop interference) This is done to...
