Re: BOTB: Submission Move

10. One I think I innovated myself (probably not, but I've never seen it) is the Leg Trap Full Nelson. You put them in a Full Nelson as usual, but you hook one of their legs as well. It hurts like hell, and you can follow up with a suplex and make it look nasty. Didn't Theone86 come up with somethi...

Re: The Everlasting Perspective: Zero Hour

Actually, no, BRM. That finish just made me dislike the match. You really think I'm unprofessional enough to lower a rating on a match because I want my char to win? I'm dissappointed at you! Chill out. It was a joke. Hence why I only italicized the comment about being disappointed by the finish , ...

Re: Wrestlers to Watch in 2011

Disappointed to see most indies snubbed in here. I was surprised to see Jimmy Jacobs though. Here's who I would look out for. 1. AR Fox 2. Adam Cole (& Kyle O'Reilly, who is more over in ROH than Cole for some stupid reason) 3. Mike Bennett 4. Robert Anthony 5. Devon Moore 6. All NIght Express ...

2. Adam Cole (& Kyle O'Reilly, who is more over in ROH than Cole for some stupid reason)
Likely because of the name of his trainer

It is perfectly acceptable to jump someone. Even with a weapon. As long as you don't hurt them too badly.

2. The inverted cloverleaf is awesome! Cattle Mutilation is another one that is very unique, very painful if you can pull it off....
The Haas of Pain also belongs in this category

Re: BOTB: Submission Move

I've always thought that the inverted cloverleaf was a sweet maneuver and I've liked the Undertaker's Hell's Gate submission since he first debuted it. The problem with the Kondo Clutch is that, after seeing Melissa literally bend MsChif in half and make her stomp her own head with it, all other ve...

Not necessarily. And they usually don't give away the finish unless it is important to understanding the rating in question.

Re: BOTB: Finisher

In terms of kayfabe effectiveness- Definitely the Kudo Driver/Cop Killa/ Vertereaker. Also, the plain old Piledrier has to be mentioned. As for moves that look vicious- I STILL can't figure out how they do double stomps (especially guys like KENTA, Low Ki, and Super Dragon) without really hurting th...

it's actually just as long. They changed the grace period from 2 mins to 90secs, so it evens out.....
But still, it will take longer to eliminate the extra 10 guys (if done well, anyway)

GREAT read! I had never even considred turning any of these guys aside from Barrett or Otunga face (and never BOTH of those two). This article sold me on all of their abilities to succeed as a babyface.
