Re: WWE Pay-Per-View Schedule.

NO to King of the Ring. All the idiocy that surrounds the winner, specifically taking "King" too literally, has made me hate it. I'll quite honestly be happy NEVER seeing King of the Ring again. "King" whatever didn't work the last 10 times you tried it, so what the HELL makes y...

Re: A Grave Injustice!!!!

Don't worry about it. The Observer awards make no sense. Cole was also ranked #8 out of 10 on the list of "best announcers of the year." How can he be the worst if there are two people worse than him?

Re: WWE Pay-Per-View Schedule.

Royal Rumble : A show with a lot of history behind it, and an integral part of the buildup to Mania The verdict: Keep it! Elimination Chamber : The February PPV has always been a little bit weird simply because of the Rumble Title shot clause, but I'd say keep it. I think WWE does a very good job l...

Out of curiosity, have you read Journey into Darkness? I feel like you would have it. I have never been able to find it anywhere.

Re: Money In The Bank? Who actually needs it?

That is assuming that they give MITB to an unproven guy. If someone like Sheamus or Triple H or Rey were to win it, I don't think this same stigma would exist. In my eyes, it would be a good idea to give it to a guy that has proven himself as a world champion, but has been trying to climb the ladde...

Re: BRM's thoughts on the 1/24/2011 Raw

He really isn't that much of douche. Maybe back in early 2009, but since the the Vickie relationship his has been more of an arrogant jerk and less of a douche. Is there a big difference between a douche & a jerk? A jerk is just arrogant. A douche is a downright despicable person (IMO, anyway).

Re: Montreal Screwjob

I voted for Bret Screwed Bret, but there is no denying that Vince screwed Bret under the technical definition of the term. I think that Bret should have done whatever his boss said. Shawn was the heel. Beating Bret in Canada would have gotten heat on him. Also, Vince was justified in protecting his ...

Re: BOTB of Russo

Russo was building new stars which is what WCW should have been doing when they were at their peak but only 2 new stars actually came from that: Goldberg & The Giant (Big Show)... DDP? And as for Russo making new stars... You don't make new stars by hotshotting belts around and making them wort...

BRM Reviews ROH Injustice II

ROH Injustice II (1/17/2009)- Edison, NJ We get a fun little backstage segment setting up the opening match. Then we get a good backstage promo from Larry Sweeney RHETT TITUS vs. BRENT ALBRIGHT- 4.5/10 No botches, but not very exciting at all. FOUR CORNER SURVIVAL MATCH: Necro Butcher vs. Delirious ...

Re: BRM's thoughts on the 1/24/2011 Raw

I interpreted Dolph's tone as veiled sarcasm. It sounded too goody too shoes for a heel in to my ears. I could understand the "lets watch the match" but not the i want him at 100%. Dolph as a douche is what should have been there and that isnt what he got. He really isn't that much of dou...

I disagree. We have seen how much damage Russo can do from off-screen as well.

Re: BRM's thoughts on the 1/24/2011 Raw

EDGE vs. THE MIZ (w/Alex Riley)- 6.25/10. I should have expected the non-finish here. Anyway, the one thing they did here that I didn’t like was Ziggler taking the RKO. I would have had Miz manage to hit Orton with the briefcase before he could hit Ziggler with the RKO. This is the Raw World champ ...

Re: Money In The Bank? Who actually needs it?

MITB works well as a limited concept, but I think it has almost run its course. There are only so many angles you can work from it: 1. Heel wins by cashing in on an injured/tired babyface (Edge) 1b. Heel injures the babyface himself, then cashes in. 2. Heel does the same as #1, but loses, leading t...

Re: Money In The Bank? Who actually needs it?

The only way for me to believe that the MITB winner is credible of having a world title shot, is if he also beats the top contenders while holding onto the briefcase. At least Edge & RVD did so before they won there first WWE Championships. That is assuming that they give MITB to an unproven gu...

BRM Reviews Stragiht Shootin' with the Women of Honor

The shoot interview portion of this DVD was slightly disappointing in terms of actual content. They really didn't get too deep into things, but Danger was, as always, hilarious. Parts of it were particularly disappointing. The DVD cover hyped up a story about how Lacey handled the situation when she...
