Re: Ric Flair currently training for in-ring return

This is absolutely true, but there's been a trend in the world the last few years that horrible things people have done have been forgotten, not because there was remorse or forgiveness, but that something else happened to draw the collective ire (I don't mean in wrestling, just in general). If we'...

Re: Ric Flair currently training for in-ring return

Part of me wonders if this is going to be a Hulk Hogan-esque situation, where they'll bring him back when they think we've all forgotten about it. I feel like attempted sexual assault with the victim herself relating the event will be much harder to shake off (if not impossible) than a racist tirad...

Re: Ric Flair currently training for in-ring return

I assume it's more the former than the latter. If it was money, he would have just stayed with WWE. I don't think that was in the cards after the DSOTR episode on the Plane ride from Hell. WWE not wanting to deal with the bad press and aftermath is probably why Flair was let go before the show aire...

Re: Ric Flair currently training for in-ring return

This doesn't seem like a good idea. My mom and I were having this talk today too. I feel like he’ll take one back drop and fall apart like he was made of Lego. Or no one is going to want to wrestle him and a) lose to a 73 year old man or b) kill him by accident. Worse than this, look at that video ...

Re: Kevin Owens re-signs multi-year deal with WWE

Well said about Raw. While I am about two months behind, I will say that I have really been enjoying NXT UK. It's the show that most leaves me excited for next week every time. See, even NXT UK which I so enjoyed involves a BT Sport subscription and three matches per week isn't enough to warrant th...

This is an unfortunately common feeling while watching WWE PPVs.
I contemplated renewing my sub for this ppv, and I’m so glad I didn’t.

Re: Some wrestling thoughts I’ve had lately I needed to share

I think this is why promotions like PWG, PROGRESS, the Janela Spreakbreaks, or even ROH and ECW at one point, got huge to begin with, they offered not only good wrestling, but an environment, that once you're there, it's intoxicating in a good way, and when you in video see people having fun, then ...

Re: Some wrestling thoughts I’ve had lately I needed to share

There is definitely something special about live wrestling. I go to the WWE shows every chance I get (usually once a year in pre-covid times), and even if it’s only B level guys, it’s so enjoyable. Not the last show I went to, but the one before that, I saw Charlotte and Asuka absolutely kill it. I ...

Re: WWE Releases Billie Kay and Mickie James

And yet last year everyone was certain that they wouldn't be and that WWE was so evil for releasing them. A year later, and you still don't get it. It was never about money, it's about having job security in insecure times. And with the amount of money WWE has paid these people over the years, if t...

Re: BRM Reviews the 10/29/2020 NXT UK (ILJA VS. WALTER!)

I was wondering how you’d rate this match. I’m not 100% on the WALTER train yet, but this was something special. It had the feeling of pure brutality that a lot of matches just don’t have, and they didn’t even have to use anything to get there! If WWE could make their feuds blow off like this, it wo...

Thank you for saving my time, none of this sounds like I want to see it.

I can understand some level of Halloween-ness. Like costumes and scenery and so on. But leave it at that.

........

I have no words. Why does everyone need to have only one name? What’s gonna happen to Roman Reigns eventually? Everyone else will have a one word name and he’ll be the only one with two, they’ll have to change it!

*jokes*

But for real, this is so beyond stupid it hurts my brain.

Before this main event I wasn’t sold on Ilja bring the guy to pin Walter, but I definitely find it more believable now. It’s taken a chunk out of Walter’s armor, and, to me, he feels a bit more vulnerable now than before. I’m sure it’s a new thing for him so I’m interested to see where this goes.

I also saw her in a video just the other day where she Sliced Bread and just barely got over enough to not drop her own self on her head... So basically the same thing Shotzi Blackheart did two weeks ago on NXT, and they sure do love pushing Shotzi. At least Shotzi does it with some energy. Eva Mar...
