Sports Illustrated noted that Starrcast "is independently run, and the Punk appearance is only for Starrcast, not AEW’s All Out pay-per-view later that night."
That should put things to bed once and for all.

Re: BRM Reviews most of the Opening Segment of the 7/16/2019 Smackdown

There was no real reason for Liv Morgan not to get a surprise upset out of nowhere. She had everything to gain and then lost just like that...the way it's going could work as well, but just nonsense... I'm intrigued. This way, she "get's real" or whatever gimmick change this entails, and NEW Liv ha...

Re: BRM Reviews most of the Opening Segment of the 7/16/2019 Smackdown

Worth noting here that Daniel Bryan was advertised to make his "big announcement". He came out, didn't say anything, and left... rinse and repeat two more times. I thought it was brilliant when Ciampa did it after his heel turn, but for some reason this really pissed me off. Maybe because it was lit...

Re: Bruiser Brody Shoot Interview

One other consistency is that dudes were just "lacing boots up while he bled to death on the floor", and "the man that did it went home and came back and wrestled and stayed on as Booker and within the business for 30 years." What happened is awful (RIP Brody), but this right here is why we're stil...

Re: BRM Reviews the 7/10/2019 NXT

I can absolutely see Shayna being in a Sonya Deville situation before long. The fear is real, but for what it's worth, but my hope rests on the fact that nobody in NXT has been booked as dominantly as Shayna except Charlotte. An argument could be made for Asuke, and while we can all agree that call...

Did You Know: The Sale of WCW...

As the narrative goes, Vince bought WCW for 2.5 Million after their timeslots were taken due to the Time Warner/AOL merger. General knowledge for most is that there was a bidding war between a few different entities that ultimately backed out once the TV Time wasn't included, as that was what made t...

Re: BRM Reviews the 7/10/2019 NXT

I like that setup with the ladies. It feels natural, and Shayna has really done all that she can in NXT so the only thing left that feels organic is a move to the main roster, and I think they would benefit from a heel like her. Absolutely, especially if they brought her in similarly to her NXT run...

Re: BRM Reviews the 7/15/2019 Raw (bad, but not as bad as last week)

Drew McIntyre feels buried by not being included here. US Champion AJ Styles and US Champion Nakamura really should have been in here, too. I think McIntyre would have been a better fit than E or Zayne, but I'm OK with keeping the secondary champs out of the world title picture regardless of who th...

Yeah. Brock showed up, cashed in, and won the title again. All of a sudden we’re right back to where we were three months ago. And eight months ago. And a year ago. I think you mean "where we should be' Brock is the hardest worker in the business and lauded as such. I mean... he's a good reset butt...

Re: BRM Reviews WWE Extreme Rules 2019

KEVIN OWENS vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER- DUD! Ziggler slapped Owens, then Owens hit Ziggler with a stunner and pinned him. Owens then cut a promo about, ironically, how Shane McMahon wasted people’s TV time. Owens said that Shane could go to hell. This did nothing but eat up PPV time, and there was no good r...

Re: BRM Reviews AEW Fight for the Fallen (great, but warning signs are starting to show)

I haven't watched the show yet, but with all these dream matches I might have to make some time for it. What'd I see there? 4? 5? Dream Matches? The only one of them that was a legit dream match was Omega vs. CIMA. I highly doubt that there is anyone in the world who would have said "Do you know wh...
