BRM Reviews the 7/17/2018 Smackdown

JEFF HARDY PROMO- fine RENEE YOUNG INTERVIEWS SHINSUKE NAKAMURA- good AJ STYLES vs. ANDRADE “CIEN” ALMAS (w/Zelina Vega)- 7/10 Almas wore a mask (not sure if it was one of his old La Sombra masks or not) onto the stage, then took it off and tossed it behind him. These two had a pretty great match (b...

Re: BRM Reviews the 7/16/2018 Raw

Idek what the whole gimmick thing is they're doing with Ziggler at this point lol. Before it was something about two dudes makin' new names For themselves. Now it's talkin' like an idiot again. Yeah. I feel the same way. I really think they should be using just Drew's music as a team and Drew shoul...

This is more it for me. Skipping the commercials means cutting a good 50 minutes or so out of Raw.

Re: BRM Reviews the 7/16/2018 Raw

Ziggler's horrible lol. This guy is not good with promos. I don't think he's that bad... I think the script is that bad. I mean, perception is reality, bad is bad regardless. I put him in a class with Angle. Guys that can talk but can't read out loud. Ziggler is fine as a "talking point" guy, he's ...

Re: WWE Raw ratings rebound strongly following Extreme Rules

It is really a huge defeatist mentality, they need to teach their fans that no matter what other thing is on another channel, WWE is the place to be. for the longest time this has been the reason why a lot of people watch RAW, the 'just in case something big happens' that kinda started with things ...

Re: WWE Raw ratings rebound strongly following Extreme Rules

I think straight expected Lesnar to be there This is my guess as well. It will be interesting to see if Brock's next teased appearance doesn't draw as many people because he didn't show up here. It explains the big drop for the rest of the show... I'd be interested to see the quarter hour for this ...

If you ever just want to appreciate typically maligned PPVs, just pop on GAB 1991. It puts everything in prespective
Yeah. Booking in the main event alone feels like a TNA moment where they do a big heel turn that no one wants to see just for the sake of doing a big heel turn.

Re: BRM Reviews WWE Extreme Rules 2018 (a strong contender for Worst Show of the Year)

Clearly nothing worth watching, as per your continual scathing reviews. Raw always has an Alexa Bliss! promo and Smackdown will always have a Daniel Bryan match. Those are always worth watching. Which I can see in isolation without having to watch the entirety of each episode, as you suggest that I...

BRM Reviews NJPW G1 Climax 28: Day 3

NJPW G1 Climax 28: Day 3 (7/16/2018)- Sapporo, Japan THE GUERRILLAS OF DESTINY vs. TOA HENARE & SHOTA UMINO- 4/10 Having an undercard match with no one in the G1 is very odd. Obviously the reason they did it was because Hiromu is injured and thus they didn’t have enough LIJ members to team with Sana...

WWE Raw ratings rebound strongly following Extreme Rules

Source: www.F4WOnline.com By Dave Meltzer | @davemeltzerWON | Jul 17, 2018 2:02 pm Whether it was curiosity coming off the Extreme Rules pay-per-view, or more likely, over Brock Lesnar and the Universal title, Raw rebounded strongly last night to 2.86 million viewers, a 16 percent increase from las...

Re: BRM Reviews WWE Extreme Rules 2018 (a strong contender for Worst Show of the Year)

Which begs the question, why? If you know you're not going to enjoy the TV, why watch? You challenged me to write a review, so I'm going to challenge you. Take from now until Summerslam off. No main roster TV, no review. See if you enjoy the show more. It all comes down on why you watch wrestling a...

WCW Beach Blast 1992 (6/20/1992)- Mobile, AL We start off with Bischoff and Schiavone standing around with no desk in their beachwear, which consists of polo shirts and khakis. Re: BRM Reviews WWE Extreme Rules 2018 (a strong contender for Worst Show of the Year)

That probably explains why you liked it. You didn't sit through weeks and weeks of TV where the same sh*t happened over and over, only to see the same sh*t then happen yet again on the PPV, which is where something different is supposed to happen. Which begs the question, why? If you know you're no...
