WWE's Next big acquisition...

So I wrote in another column that I'd like to see WWE pick up Nick Aldis. I like what he's done with the NWA Championship, he has a solid look, links to WWE and he's not too shabby in the ring either. Who do you think will be WWE's next big indie name acquisition? Or... who would you like to see the...

... Nick Aldis. The one guy I'd love to see WWE pick up and go with.... but I know they'll ruin him once he's past NXT.

Re: Charlotte to undergo surgery, still set for WWE European tour

since we're still talking about her... From F4WOnline CHARLOTTE TO UNDERGO DENTAL WORK AFTER LOSING TEETH DURING MATCH Ashley Fliehr (Charlotte Flair) is flying back home from the European tour after getting her teeth knocked out in a match on her first night on tour on Thursday in Oberhausen, Germ...

Re: Awkward Moment On Jerry Lawler's Podcast Implies Women Are Being Paid For Sitting Out The Greatest Royal Rumble

I'm pretty sure this has already been reported. The idea is that by paying them for the show anyway, WWE is avoiding a gender discrimination lawsuit because the women are not missing out on an opportunity to get paid due to their gender. I see nothing wrong with paying them for the show. Doing the ...

that 6 man title scene got me confused, especially because i thought Scurll/Bucks were the champs
SCU won them at the 16th Anniversary Show from the Bucks & Page.
I totally mixed up my ROH and NJPW trios titles
I was just as mixed up as you. I thought it was Bucks & Scurll!

Re: Big Cass Upsets Backstage Officials

What an idiot. Complete idiot. The big boot is enough of a statement. I imagine he walked through the curtain and vince blew an absolute gasket at him. WWE allowing the big boot, is enough of a statement. But he's beaten a midget there... that's doesn't look too good with all their bullying campagi...

Re: BRM Reviews the 5/8/2018 205 Live (GREAT!)

Why? It's basically just a booking change. Whatever production changes Hunter wants to make are all things he already knows how to do because he's been doing them on NXT and 205 Live. WWE isn’t like a normal wrestling business. They have other things to consider. You can’t just make severe changes ...

Re: BRM Reviews the 5/8/2018 205 Live (GREAT!)

End of 2019? How about Vince tells Hunter where things are going to be at the end of Summer Slam and Hunter takes over from there? Don’t get me wrong, I want Hunter in charge as much as the next person... but from a business standpoint it won’t be that quick. It will be a gradual 12 -18 month proce...

Re: BRM Reviews the 5/8/2018 205 Live (GREAT!)

Right. WWE's way of thinking is that people only want to see the stars and thus they either put the stars on TV as much as possible, don't tell you when the stars won't be on TV so you don't tune out, and keep non-star matches short. A much more productive solution would be to do things to try to m...

Re: BRM Reviews the 5/8/2018 205 Live (GREAT!)

I think a lot of this goes back to Vince's " it's not professional wrestling, it's Sports Entertainment" identity crisis. Professional Wrestling implies a professionalism, which in the case of a professional sports league means (among other things) that you have your card all booked before the show...

Re: BRM Reviews the 5/8/2018 205 Live (GREAT!)

An authority figure should exist to fix problems and to serve as an on-screen representative of the promotion. He or she should be a reactionry figure, except on the rare occasions where his or her presence if being used for gravitas like in a contract signing or some other sort of official ceremon...

Re: Charlotte to undergo surgery, still set for WWE European tour

Dude... I've been saying this for years. No one should be calling anyone "genetically superior," but there are doubly unfortunate implications to telling everyone that the blonde-haired, blue-eyed white person is genetically superior. As a blonde haired blue eyed gentleman, I too would shy away fro...

Re: BRM Reviews the 5/8/2018 205 Live (GREAT!)

It's just rolling well. It does however have that clear NXT feel to it now, Triple H has a clear style... it's a good style though. I think a lot of this goes back to Vince's " it's not professional wrestling, it's Sports Entertainment" identity crisis. Professional Wrestling implies a professional...

Re: BRM Reviews the 5/8/2018 205 Live (GREAT!)

It also goes to show that the whole "authority figure taking up lots of the show" is a Vince feature and not a Triple H feature. Maverick and Regal are almost like Jack Tunney's these days, they do show up, but they're not the main feature of the show. A direction I highly appreciate. An authority ...

EC3 vs. RAUL MENDOZA- no mating, decent semi-squash Ethan’s music is so bad it’s good. I for one am glad there was no mating. Umm... umm... Aha! You caught my clever joke! Good eye, XIV. Don't be ridiculous.
What's ridiculous is how Charlotte is the most overdone and overpushed act in the entire women's division lol.
Crazy talk. She is damn good in a feud and her matches are top quality...
